to reserve your space. Download / complete the form for
existing students
or new students.
Please plan on attending
our Open House August 17th from 10AM - 1PM
In preparation for our 60th
Anniversary in 2009, we are planning a celebration with our Alumni. Please
contact
the school office and complete our
Alumni
Card if you are a graduate or former student and would like to be involved.
We need a volunteer to head up this effort.

REMINDERS:
- VOLUNTEERS / PARENTS: Please sign up for a
VIRTUS
training session if you have not had one in the past three years. We will
need your certificate on file in the school office for you to participate in
school functions with the children.
- WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE AS OFFICERS AND COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS FOR THE
HSA - Please consider volunteering for a position in 2008-2009.
- Summer camp is in full swing here at SJCS. The dates camp will be offered are June 9th - August 1st with hours from 8 a.m. to 5
p.m. Cost is $20 to register and $20 per day ($100 per week). Activities will include
creative learning, arts & crafts, drama, movies, reading, water
play, field trips and more! (Participation in field trips may incur extra
costs).
- Did you know that SJCS
benefits from every Internet search you do if you use

Google? Just set your "Who do you GoodSearch for?" preference to
St John Catholic School (North Charleston). You may
also do your online shopping through
GoodShop
for the school to receive donations. To date, GoodSearch has donated over $199
to SJCS!

Congratulations
to Aubrey Hormillo (Class of 2006) who has been commended for Outstanding
Academic Achievement at Fort Dorchester High School. Aubrey was asked to
name her best teacher and she named our Mrs. Kramp. We are proud of both!
