Parent Testimonials (names have been removed):
“If you are looking for a more flexible, understanding, welcoming and forgiving environment—SJCS is the place to choose. Our 8 year old is testing several grades ahead on his ITBS assessment.” -  Parents of two at SJCS
“At (my son's) previous school, he cried on the way to and from school weekly. He was a victim of ridicule and bullying quite a few times - which caused enormous anxiety. In my last meeting with his teachers...I was told that (he) was unable to learn in a normal classroom setting. He has thrived (here at SJCS). Words cannot begin to express what this year has meant to us.” -  Parent of one at SJCS
“You all have exceeded my expectations in what you have provided for (our son). All the staff is understanding, flexible, positive and compassionate." -  Parents of one at SJCS
"In the five years that (our son) has been at St. John, he has gone from a little boy with a great deal of anxiety and little self confidence, to a young man ready and eager to go on to the next phase in his life. It is no coincidence how (he) came to this point. I have no doubt in my mind this change was made, first, but the grace of God and secondly by the loving patience and skill of all his teachers. (He) and all the graduating class will leave here today with the values and education that I hope will last them a lifetime and take them far into the future." -  Parents of a recent SJCS Graduate

View our Faculty's qualifications on our Faculty and Staff page.

We are aware that some children have been diagnosed with special needs. It is the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) responsibility to provide documentation and information to the Principal, prior to enrollment, regarding personal conditions which may require special services by the school. In these cases, each situation will be evaluated in accordance with these two criteria:  the educational standards of the school, and the school's ability to provide the service. Admission is open first to students presently enrolled and then to new students.
